pine flooring from the fabled Sierra Madre of Mexico. Sierra Madre Pine
flooring has the traditional look of ponderosa pine flooring popular in
the Southwest, but it is harder than the ponderosa pine grown in the USA.
The long hot growing season with unpredictable and infrequent rains strengthens
and hardens the wood fibers in Sierra Madre Pine. Kiln drying and the
naturally dry air of the alto desierto in Mexico insure that, unlike pine
from the humid coastal regions of the USA, Sierra Madre Pine is dry enough
to prevent excessive shrinkage after installation.

PLAZA HARDWOOD, Inc. pine flooring is manufactured
with a flooring match which positions the tongue offset down from the
face of the plank to allow the floor to be refinished many times. Our
plank flooring is milled with back relieving grooves to enhance the stability
of the installed floor boards. SIERRA MADRE PINE is premium plank flooring
intended for elegant traditional interiors.
Available in 3.25”, 5.25”, 7.25” and 8.25" face
widths, 3/4” solid plank. Lengths vary from 2’ to 12’
with most of the flooring 7’ to 12’ long.
