Plaza Hardwood sells “White” Ash, fraxinus americana. This floor is harder than oak and much lighter. It has strong color variation and a striking grain pattern that ressembles oak, but with more space between the growth rings. This is a special order product and is available in widths from 3” to 6”. The more character in the floor the darker the overall color. It is also available sorted for the white (sapwood) color with a longer lead time and a higher price. It can be stained in medium colors. It is a good choice for people who like strong grain patterns. |
