A different and innovative type of flooring made from Bamboo. Bamboo is a fast growing, stable wood that can be found in many parts of the world. It is stable enough to withstand most moisture changes without shrinking, swelling, bowing, cupping, or twisting. D & M is a laminate floor made completely of solid bamboo.
The lumber is first cut into thin strips, which are treated with a non-toxic pest resistant. Once the strips dry, they are laminated together into a single ply veneer. Several layers of this veneer are pressed together to create a multi-layer flooring product. This laminate is then milled into tongue and groove planks. Bamtex comes in either natural color, or carbonated, finished or unfinished. It can also be colored to give a magnificent and innovative look. |
